Appointment Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
This page explains how to contact Modern Touch Dental, P.C. about changing or cancelling a visit at our office at 426 Atlantic Ave, East Rockaway, NY 11518. It does not set a new cancellation fee, deposit requirement or advance-notice deadline. Any appointment-specific financial terms must be obtained from the practice rather than inferred from this website.
Changing an existing appointment
If you need to change a visit, call (516) 786-0134 as soon as you know your plans have changed. Tell the team that you are contacting them about an existing appointment and ask them to confirm the change. Discuss a suitable new time with the office if you wish to reschedule.
An unanswered call, a message sent through the website or visiting this page does not itself confirm that an appointment has been cancelled. If you have not received confirmation, contact the office again. Do not assume that submitting a new appointment request removes an earlier appointment.
Online requests and messages
The website's Logika booking flow accepts an appointment request. The practice still needs to confirm availability and the details of the visit. If your preferred day or contact details change while a request is awaiting a response, tell the office which request you want to update.
Text chat and Second Opinion inquiries are separate from appointment management. Sending information through those features does not automatically cancel, reschedule or reserve an appointment. A Second Opinion inquiry may remain in the practice's communication records even if you later decide not to arrange a visit.
Fees and practical questions
Ask the office whether a particular visit has an advance-notice requirement, a cancellation charge, a deposit or other financial condition. This page does not state that cancellations are always free, that a deposit is refundable or that a fee applies to every visit. Review any specific arrangement provided to you and raise questions before agreeing to it.
Insurance coverage and financing arrangements are separate matters. Changing an appointment does not, by itself, determine whether an insurer covers a service or whether a financing provider changes an agreement.
Contact and privacy
For a general administrative question, you may email [email protected]. Do not include sensitive health information, insurance identifiers or payment details in ordinary email. Telephone the office if you are unsure which communication method to use or need confirmation about an imminent visit.
If your reason for changing a visit involves an urgent dental concern, call the office to discuss the next step rather than relying on a website message. Call 911 for a medical emergency.
The Privacy Policy explains how website inquiries are handled. Contact the practice for the terms that apply to your appointment; the date above identifies the current version of this website guidance.
